| Welcome, potential Arizona Rangers! Please provide some basic information
about yourself and we will contact you to answer your questions regarding the
Sierra Vista Company of the Arizona Rangers. First though, you must meet a few
requirements to
become an Arizona Ranger: First:
 | Be A Minimum Of 21 Years Of Age |
 | Be A Resident Of Arizona |
 | Either Possess Or Be Able To Obtain An Arizona Concealed Carry Weapons
Permit (CCWP) |
 | We Provide CCWP Training Independent of Your Intention To Become An
Arizona Ranger |
Then:
 | Read These Few Instructions, And Then Fill Out The Short Form That
Follows. |
 | Electronically Submit The Form |
 | Our Recruiting Sergeant, Or Other Official, Will Contact You To
Schedule An Orientation Briefing. |
 | This Briefing Is Informational, Teaching You About the History And
Traditions Of The Arizona Rangers, As Well As The Demands And Rewards Of
Serving As A Modern Arizona Ranger. |
 | On Completion Of The Orientation Briefing, You May Be Provided With An
Application, Either In Person, By Mail, Or By Email. |
 | The Completed Application, Along With A Signed Waiver, Allowing A Local
Law Enforcement Agency Background Check, Must Be Returned To The Recruiting
Sergeant. |
Then...:
 | Our Recruiting Sergeant Will Contact You to Schedule You (And Other
Candidates) For An Oral Board. |
 | (Please Relax! These Oral Boards Are Unlike Military
Or Police-Style Oral Boards. They are Relaxed and Informal. We Designed Them
as A Two-Way Forum That Allows Us To Learn About You, While You Learn About
Us.) |
 | The Oral Board Consists Of Members Of The Company And Its Leadership. |
And then...:
 | Assuming That You Pass The Local Law Enforcement Agency Background
Check, And That The Oral Board Provides A Favorable Recommendation, You And
The Other Candidates Will Appear At The Next Company Business Meeting, Where
You Will Be introduced To The Company's Arizona Rangers. |
 | At The First Break, You will Be Excused, While Your Nomination Is
Discussed. The Results Of Your Oral Board Will Be The Major Factor Considered
By The Voting Membership. |
 | A Simple Majority Vote Of Those Present Is Necessary To Accept You As A
Probationary Arizona Ranger. |
Finally:
 | You Will, On Receiving That Majority Vote, Be Sworn In As A
Probationary Arizona Ranger, For A Minimum, 90-Day, Period. |
